1. This is not an urgent email from your work colleague who is stuck in Uganda, and really needs you to wire over £20,000 immediately in order to flee the country. This is a very real request for help.

Do you like reading my blog? Truly I hope that you do. I love writing it, and it provides me with something more purposeful to do than eating swiss roll, folding laundry and calculating exactly how little sleep I had last night.

I only started writing in May 2015, and this year I have learnt that I am not the only person who pretends they need a poo when their husband comes home, just so they can be on their own for 10 minutes. I have discovered that its perfectly normal to feed your children broccoli, while you eat a custard cream with your head in the cupboard so they don’t see. And since a rather revealing post about how I piss myself when I laugh, I know exactly which of my friends has totally voided their bladder on a buggy fit session. Thank you all for helping to take away some of the feelings of loneliness I have experience since I had the children.

But if you do like the cut of my jib, then please please please please please please please (Note to self, reminding people of Jimmy Saville will probably not win votes) nominate me for one of the awards below.

I would dearly love for my blog to eventually make me some money, and provide me with a career. Being nominated for these awards would be a first step on that path. As I have been blogging for less than a year, the most relevant category is probably Best New Blog in the MADS, or Fresh voice in the BIBS.

I’ve nominated my favourite blogs, and I highly recommend a look if you’ve enjoyed reading mine, I struggled with some of the categories as I basically just gorge myself reading funny blogs. I ought to try a craft blog, but junk modelling ,makes me want to poke myself in the eye with a pipe-cleaner, and lets not talk about exercise. These bloggers have been supportive, they have been encouraging, they have been kind and they have been tolerant. I salute them all (and bow at their collective comedic genius) So in no particular order my favourites are;

Life, Love and Dirty Dishes

Absolutely Prabulous

Mama Zen Blog

The Adultier Adult

Your support so far has meant so much to. To anyone who has ever liked, shared or commented on anything I have written, I salute you! You will never really know how much your time and interaction has meant to me. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. xxxxxxxxxxx
